The website is operated by Astute Management, which builds and manages the network and introduces customers to the right professional for the job.

What This Website Does, And What It Does Not Do

Astute Management does not carry out the plumbing, heating or electrical work advertised on this website. The purpose of this website is to introduce you to the right professional from our network for the job in hand.

The businesses introduced through this website operate independently. They are responsible for providing their own quotations, agreeing the scope of work, carrying out the work, and managing all customer payments.

Quotations, Contracts And Payment

Any quotation, contract, deposit or payment arrangement is agreed directly between you and the professional you choose. Astute Management is not a party to that contract.

This website does not take payment from customers for work carried out by an independent professional in our network.

Submitting an enquiry does not require you to appoint any business introduced through this website, and you are free to obtain quotations elsewhere.

Our Network Of Trusted Professionals

We do not select providers at random. The businesses we introduce are established local firms we work closely with, in many cases over several years. Many have previously worked with us as clients on other projects, whether we have built or managed their websites, supported their marketing, sent them customer enquiries or provided other business services.

That means we already have a detailed understanding of how they operate, the quality of their work, their professionalism and how they treat their customers. Our recommendations are based on genuine long-standing commercial relationships and first-hand experience.

Gas Safe, NICEIC And Other Registrations

Astute Management does not hold a Gas Safe registration, a NICEIC registration or any other trade competency registration, and does not claim to. Where this website refers to Gas Safe registered engineers or NICEIC registered electricians, it refers to the independent professionals in our network, not to the operator of the website.

Gas work must by law be carried out by an engineer on the Gas Safe Register. The professionals in our network are insured, appropriately registered and skilled for the work they take on. You can and should verify any individual engineer’s registration at gassaferegister.co.uk before work begins, and you remain free to satisfy yourself as to any provider’s insurance, qualifications and suitability.

Our knowledge of a provider is not itself a guarantee of any particular piece of work, and it does not make Astute Management a party to the contract between you and them.

Your Enquiry

When you submit an enquiry we pass the details you provide to one or more service providers in our network so that they can contact you. See our Privacy Policy for what is shared and why.

You may ask us at any time to stop passing on your details.

Liability

Astute Management is responsible for the operation of this website and for handling your enquiry properly. We are not responsible for the work carried out by an independent professional in our network, for their quotations, timescales, workmanship, guarantees or conduct, and any dispute about the work is between you and that provider.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
